Is it possible to really build muscle and attain a dream physique fast? Well, it depends with which side you are standing. To some, it simply sounds like the beginning of an infomercial but if you haven’t built muscle yet despite your efforts, or are getting started in muscle building, it is a very valid question indeed.

Getting massive, getting huge, bodybuilding, or whatever you feel OK to call it, is just like the weight loss industry, it has been marketed so forcefully to a point that it sounds mysterious. It is like there is some secret ingredient, a key formula, or a scientific way of arranging the sets and reps to ensure that muscles grow, and at a very fast rate for that matter.

Worse of all is the idea that majority of the people end up losing hope from conflicting information and information overload. There is actually a very widespread misconception that everyone who has managed to build muscles has succeeded by using steroids. Truth be told that many of the body builders we see today have combined steroids, and a huge amount of work, to attain such a physique, but the notion that one cannot succeed in body building without using drugs is not true.

There are certain fast and hard rules to help in building muscle but note that each individual will react differently, either faster or slower to the training. Of utmost importance however is that the trainee has to stick to a realistic program, and have faith in it to be able to stay with it for as long as it is necessary. This explains the reason why many people today will hire a professional trainer who will customize their program, and hold them accountable until they attain their desired results.

Perhaps you can hold yourself accountable, however, you will know that you need a comprehensive program if you realize that you are packing on fat in place of muscle because of overeating, or you aren’t really gaining the muscles that you want. Keep in mind that even the wisest professional athlete has a strength coach that will delineate a workout and plan each detail.

Evaluate yourself and find out whether you are still diligent, disciplined, and determined to attain your set bodybuilding goals. Perhaps it is not all about motivation after all that is responsible for your stale progress, it might be because the program you have isn’t the right one.

Thus, to ask whether it is possible to build muscle fast, the answer is absolutely yes, but with utmost dedication to the bodybuilding program, hard work and discipline. Never be afraid to learn, learn from experienced people, those who have been where you are, or those who are trained to guide people like you.

You see them on TV or in magazines, these guys with huge arms that threaten to burst out of their shirts at any moment. It will not be easy to get those big biceps, but this article can give you some pointers that will work for you regardless of where you are right now in your level of training.

Don’t expect immediate results. Impatience can lead to discouragement and frustration and even cause people to give up. In due time, with persistence and dedication, your efforts will pay off handsomely.

Be flexible in range of repetitions. Many bodybuilders usually get comfortable with a rep range and they tend to stick to that range when they work out. When they’re working with heavy weights, they’ll use the same number of reps throughout. With lighter lifting, they are likely to stick with another range of reps for everything. Alternating between low and high rep ranges ensures that all muscles are stimulated.

Work out with a buddy. This will boost your motivation and you can give each other mutual encouragement. The ideal partner would be one who has more or less the same build and weight goals as you do.

Don’t snub the dumbbells. They offer a wide range of angles that will allow the muscles in your arms to get a thorough workout. Barbells afford limited angles though they are the most effective for strength-building. On the other hand, while machines will afford you more angles, the drawback is that the muscles are not worked hard enough.

Increase your energy level. New power drinks and supplements that are safe if taken in moderation are now available. They have ingredients that will enhance blood flow to your muscles while you are training. The heightened energy may be temporary but it will enable you to work harder with lasting positive effects.

Load up on calories. Growing bigger muscles require plenty of proteins. One possible reason that some would-be bodybuilders are not successful in developing their physique is because they are eating the same amount of food in an effort to lose weight. It’s impossible to do both at the same time. The solution to this dilemma is to alternate between bodybuilding, where you work on bulking up your muscles, and a weight loss regimen.

Get more hours of sleep. Your muscles grow not while you’re training them but while you’re resting. After the workout you give your muscles in the gym, give them time to rebuild, repair, and grow while you sleep.

Truth About Abs Review

Through out the years men have sought to have the perfect body. Many men spend hours in the gym trying to achieve the perfect six pack. The trouble is that for many this target is just not achievable. For many people losing weight or toning up their stomach is the hardest thing to achieve. When you visit a gym you get a sense of real gym envy when you see people who are working at their six pack, jealous of those whose good body seems to come almost naturally.

The truth is that whilst doing cardio, crunches and sit-ups are great they don’t focus on the abdominal area. In fact a lot of work outs seem to miss this area out altogether as they know it is the hardest area to achieve any real results.

However that said it doesn’t mean that it can’t be done. The secret is to follow a real plan, that’s sole focus is to get you the six pack that you desire. The Truth About Six Pack Abs program does exactly that!

Mike Geary has worked for over 263,000 people in around 150 different countries. His skills and techniques as a personal trainer are second to none. He has developed The Truth About Six Pack Abs so that everyone can have the body that they want.

Mike Geary wanted the book to be easy to understand and achievable. He did this by breaking the book down into two sections.

The first park of the book talks about nutrition.

Most of us know the basics of healthy eating. We know that a take away every night is not going to help us lose weight. However the book goes beyond that and gets to the nitty gritty of good eating in an informative and easy to understand unlike many workout and nutritional books.

The next section is the main part of the book – exercise. This is where Mike Geary really comes into his own and shows you just how much valuable knowledge he really has. He goes above and beyond the normal exercise routines that we are all used too. He has a number of exercise techniques focusing on the abdominal area.

In a step that is unlike many other exercise books you read, he also tells you the exercises to avoid. That’s right; there are exercises that you should avoid because they make you less likely to achieve the six pack that you want.

However don’t panic and think that the exercises only focus on your abdominal area. Mike shows you a full body works out to help you get rid of body fat all over. He will also show you exercises that help you increase body’s metabolism.

Women are not excluded from any part of this book; the program is designed to work for everyone.

Generally exercises in the book take between 30 and 50 minutes every day depending on your pace. These will get easier the more you do them and your times will get faster.

Don’t worry though you also only have to work out round 3-4 times a week to achieve the body perfection you are aiming for.

People want to accomplish a flat stomach or ripped six pack abs. The truth is, the first step to getting ripped abs is having a flat stomach, so you need to do one to get to the other. So, whether your goal is to get ripped abs to show off at the beach this summer or to become the world’s next fitness model, you have to work hard to get there.

Try truth about abs program – 21 day trial only $4.97

“How Do I Flatten My Stomach?”

Flattening your stomach is actually the hard part in the process to getting ripped six pack abs. This is because burning fat is harder than building muscle. Building muscle can take longer because of the way it has to be done, but burning off the fat takes longer because our body needs calories to run on, and most foods are full of fat today.

Burning off the fat and getting a flat stomach is the part where a strict diet is necessary. The important part is to make sure that you are burning off more calories with your daily exercise than you are using, and you are eating healthy foods that don’t have the added saturated fats in them. By doing this, your body will start eating away at the fat that you have stored until it is nearly gone. The healthy foods you eat have to be a lifestyle change if you want to keep the weight off, dieting for a month than going back to pizza and burgers is only going to disappoint you.

“Now, How Do I get Ripped Abs?”

Once your stomach is free of all of the excess fat through exercise and a proper diet, you can work on building the muscle. Muscle is built through a repairing process. When you work out, you are training your muscles and in the process they succumb to tiny rips that they have to repair, and each time they repair one of these rips they are doubling it in size because of scar tissue. This training process makes your muscles stronger and helps you get “ripped abs”. Maybe now the title makes a little more sense.

It is important that you are taking in enough calories during this time in order to keep your body from tearing at your muscle. You have to make sure the calories aren’t empty by taking in things with a lot of nutrients and proteins so that your body has something to feed on. Combining this with daily exercise the targets your abdomen is the best and fastest way to get ripped abs. Keep in mind that ripped abs take time, you have to train your muscles. Make sure to vary the work outs you do so you aren’t only working on one part of your abs as well.

For some people, the necessity to lose weight is definite. Individuals with extremely high body weight that places them in the morbidly obese or simple obese categories are clearly aware that the pounds on them are too many and need to be shed off. On the other side, people who are just above average would wish to lose weight but the question in many people’s mind is how much weight needs to be lost in order to get in the ‘healthy’ category.

Thanks to advancement in technology, doctors today have different ways of measuring the necessity to lose weight. Gone are the days when doctors and patients relied on an insurance company’s chart that indicated ‘ideal weights’. Today, the Body Mass Index (BMI) is the most common way of measuring weight in relation to an individual’s height.

Generally, it is a very accurate way of showing the muscle to fat ratio, although it has some limitations. First off, it can overestimate the BMI of an older person or generally people with low muscle mass and secondly, it can miscalculate the BMI of an athlete simply because the muscle is much dense and weighs heavier than fat.

You can find many BMI calculators online to help you calculate your BMI. If your BMI shows 18.5, it means you are underweight, if it shows anything between 18.5 and 24.9, it means you are normal, 25.0 and 29.9 means you are overweight and 30.0 and above means you are obese. Any BMI above 25.0 is considered risky hence a doctor or professional can advice you on the best weight loss plan.

Benefits of losing weight

Reduces risk of arthritis and pain related to it – different forms of arthritis have been directly linked to weight issues thus losing extra pounds reduces the pressure put on joints, the back, hips, knees, and ankles

Reduces risks of heart disease; the American Heart Association reports that coronary complications are directly related to weight hence when you lose weight and regulate your BMI, you will reduce your risks of coronary problems.

Reduces the risks of diabetes; research shows that any loss of weight, even as little as 10 pounds, greatly reduces the chances of pre-diabetes becoming diabetes by a whopping 57%.

In order to lose weight, you need to give up your sedentary lifestyle and start exercising even for as little as half an hour each day to lose around 5-7% of your total body weight a year. Your diet also has a role to play and you should really watch what you eat. Fresh fruits and veggies are very nutritious and low on calories. Still on point, you should reduce the amount of refined and over processed foods and instead concentrate on whole grain meals.

Perhaps you have been doing everything possible, and following every advice given, or one that you bump into on the internet, but you have not be successful in building muscle. You can be surprised to discover that the reason for your failure might just be you haven’t been maximizing the below-mentioned steps. Read through and evaluate yourself clearly to find where you can correct to be able to build muscle and get that admirable lean physique that will without a doubt turn heads.

First and foremost, you should commit yourself to weight lifting at least thrice or four times a week. This helps in stimulating the muscle with stress (resistance) which makes the muscles expand and grow bigger so that the stress will not occur again. After each exercise, allow your muscle to heal naturally through rest and nutrition to be able to repeat the process again. Weight lifting should be done after every 72 hours to be able to compliment it with 2 upper and 2 lower body workouts a week.

Ensure you eat 5-7 meals spread out at regular intervals throughout the day. Your diet, which of course has to be well balanced, should be rich in 45% carbohydrates, 35% proteins, and 20% fats. Equally, you should make sure you eat at least 15-18 times your body weight.

If you must use bodybuilding supplements, you should avoid any that hasn’t been around for at least three years. This way, the three years will help you know that the supplements have gone through, and passed the test of time, and in case of anything, have been withdrawn from the market or recommended for use by many people who have genuinely seen positive results.

You will be very surprised to discover that when you follow rule number three strictly, only a handful of bodybuilding supplements will be left standing. Just as a quick tip, ensure you have supplements that include; fish oil capsules, protein powder, powdered creatine, and a superior quality multi-vitamin. These products alone will cover your nutritional foundation for healthy body make-up, muscle mass and strength and above all, a healthy you.

Never underestimate the power of stretching. Actually, stretching should form at least half the time and amount of your weight lifting. Sadly though, a lot of people today focus on training, training, and more training without giving room for stretching. Stretching will greatly help restore your tissues to normal length. Keep in mind that if you train constantly, the muscles will shorten and start to be weaker and become more prone to injuries. Therefore, when weight lifting say 4 hours each week, you should take an additional 2 hours dedicated for pure stretching.
